How does NIKKON LIGHT SAVER work?
The working principle for fluorescent lamp dimming is that it requires operating at rated utility supply voltage to strike the lamp and reduces the operating voltage upon stabilized condition.
NIKKON LIGHT SAVER incorporates an intelligent electronic controlsystem to allow the fluorescent lamps to operate at rated utility supply voltage during initial mode. Thereafter, upon stabilized condition, the operating voltage will be reduced to a pre-determined value with minimal reduction in light output. When additional lamps within the circuit are switched on, the system is able to detect the change in current and automatically switch back to the initial mode to ensure proper ignition of the lamps. Both functions are operated without any interruption to the electrical system.
NIKKON LIGHT SAVER avoids mains - induced 'brownout' by continuously monitoring the mains voltage and automatically switch out of economy mode when the mains voltage drops to unacceptable levels.
