Description
A cryogenic liquid container is a specially designed vessel used to store and transport liquefied gases at extremely low temperatures, typically below -150°C (-238°F). These containers are also sometimes referred to as cryogenic tanks or dewars.
Cryogenic liquid containers are used in a wide variety of applications, including:
- Medical: Storing medical gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, and helium for use in hospitals and other medical facilities.
- Scientific research: Storing gases and other materials at very low temperatures for research purposes.
- Industrial: Storing and transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG) for use as a fuel, and other industrial gases such as argon and nitrogen.
- Food processing: Rapidly freezing and preserving food products.
