Intel Core!" i7-2600 Processor

The Intel Core i7-2600 was a desktop processor with four cores that debuted in January 2011. It is part of the Core i7 series, with the Sandy Bridge architecture and Socket 1155. Intel Hyper-Threading basically doubles the core count to eight threads. Core i7-2600 features 8 MB of L3 cache and runs at 3.4 GHz by default, but may be clocked up to 3.8 GHz depending on the workload. Intel produces the Core i7-2600 on a 32 nm production node with 1,160 million transistors.
