Cooking Tips
1. Use 2/3 of water when boiling noodle > to avoid messy stovetop.
* GF noodle tends to be starchier than regular noodle. Thus, it is normal for boiling water to foam/thickened when cooking.
2. Drizzle some cooking/olive oil to water & stir every 30 seconds until starts soften > to avoid noodle stick together.
* Because of starch, noodles tend to stick together when boiling.
3. Immediately transfer noodle to bowl/plate for sauce mixing or soak in cold water > to prevent noodle stick together or gets mushier (further soften).
* Or drizzle some olive oil if sauce is not ready.
What if gluten-free noodle is under-cooked or over-cooked?
- It is highly recommended to follow the cooking time at the back of the packaging.
Undercook – noodle texture hard and not good for the stomach
Overcook – noodle become mushy, texture may not be springy as desired
