Belvedere Pure Vodka is a brand of Polish rye vodka produced and distributed by the company Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, commonly known as LVMH. The brand is named after Belweder, the Polish presidential palace in Warsaw, and features an illustration of the building on its bottle.
The vodka is produced in the town of 呕yrardów, Poland. The Belvedere Distillery was constructed in 1910, but production only began in 1993. The brand was first launched in the United States in 1996 as a luxury liquor and is marketed as the world’s first super premium vodka.
In 2002, LVMH acquired 40% of the brand’s shareholding, followed by the remaining 60% in 2005.
