Seiobo Peach is growing from Yamagata. Most late-ripening peaches are firm in texture, but many remain soft and juicy even into October. One of the charms of late-ripening peaches is that they can be ripe to the ideal firmness when eaten. These peaches peel is milky white, slightly pinkish. Yamagata Seiobo Peach is a variety with lots of juice, easily soluble pulp and high sugar content. Its sugar content is much higher than other late-ripening varieties, around 15 degrees, and it is famous for its delicious taste. It also has moderate hardness and excellent storage stability. The sugar content of ordinary peaches is about 11 degrees, while the sugar content of top-quality peaches such as "Golden Peach" is 12 to 13 degrees, which shows how high the sugar content of Seiobo Peach is.
