Low-Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI) or low-speed engine knock is one of the most serious problems associated with today’s Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection (TGDI) engines in brand new as well as older vehicles. The pressure spikes caused by pre-ignition can cause sever and often catastrophic damage to pistons, timing chains, head gaskets, bearings, etc., Leading to costly repairs or engine replacements. Studies concluded that certain elements commonly found in motor oils and other oil additives contribute to LSPI frequency.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1) Measure Precisely: Replace with 3 ounces (89 ml) of LUBEGARD for every quart (approximately 0.95 liters) of motor oil in the engine.
2) Consistent Application: Use with every oil change for maximum benefit.
3) Avoid Overfilling: Do not exceed the engine's oil capacity when adding LUBEGARD.
4) Oil Compatibility: Best results are achieved with API SN, SN+, or SP grade oil.
Important Note: LUBEGARD is suitable for addition to both new or used oil.
