PET-CT

The Department of Nuclear Medicine has introduced the PET/CT system - Biograph mCT. This device combines the advanced achievements of molecular imaging and anatomical imaging technology, has ultra-high-definition HD technology, fast scanning capabilities and precise resolution, and can complete a full-body scan within 10 minutes. Compared with traditional equipment, the amount of contrast agent used is reduced by half, which is safer and more efficient, and is very suitable for the diagnosis of tumors, heart disease, cranial nerve diseases, and health examinations.

Five major advantages of PET/CT :
 

• Fast scanning: Complete a full-body PET/CT scan within 10 minutes, greatly improving diagnostic efficiency.
• High resolution: The resolution is up to 2 mm, eliminating motion artifacts and ensuring clear and accurate images.
• Low-dose radiation: The scanning dose is only half of that of traditional PET/CT, significantly reducing radiation risks.
• Contrast enhancement: Ultra-high-definition technology increases the resolution by 4 times, and details are clearly presented, greatly improving the accuracy of diagnosis.
• Comfort experience: The 78 cm large aperture and short cavity design are suitable for all types of patients, especially children and obese patients, and the scanning bed can bear 228 kg.

• Early diagnosis and staging of various tumors throughout the body, as well as differentiation of benign and malignant tumors, evaluation of tumor malignancy, and guidance for the formulation of the best treatment plan
