Elestal is a type of insecticide containing the active ingredients spiropidion and acetamiprid from the 'tetronic' group as well as derivatives of 'tetramic' acid and 'neonicotinoid'. Spiropidion acts by inhibiting the insect nervous system and acetamiprid acts by contact and stomach poisoning.
