Indications:
- High blood pressure (essential hypertension)
- Protection of kidneys in patients with high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and evidence of impaired kidney function
Instructions:
- Dosage: The usual dose is 150 mg once daily, but it can be increased to 300 mg once daily depending on the patient's response.
- Administration: Can be taken with or without food. It's best to take it at the same time each day.
- Precautions:
- Allergies: Do not take if you are allergic to irbesartan, hydrochlorothiazide, or any other ingredients.
- Pregnancy: Avoid if you are more than 3 months pregnant.
- Medical Conditions: Consult your doctor if you have severe liver or kidney problems, difficulty producing urine, or persistently high calcium or low potassium levels.
