Each Nexavar 200 mg film-coated tablet contains 200 mg of sorafenib (as tosylate). Other ingredients include croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, magnesium stearate, macrogol, and titanium dioxide.
Indications:
Nexavar is used to treat:

• Hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer)
• Renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer)
• Differentiated thyroid carcinoma (thyroid cancer)

• Dosage: The recommended dose is 400 mg (two tablets of 200 mg) twice daily. It should be taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
• Administration: Take Nexavar exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not change the dose or stop taking it without consulting your doctor.
• Monitoring: Your doctor will monitor your blood pressure, liver function, and other parameters regularly.
• Side Effects: Be aware of potential side effects such as skin reactions, high blood pressure, and bleeding problems. Report any unusual symptoms to your doctor immediately.
