Vytocor 10mg/20mg Tablet contains 10 mg of ezetimibe and 20 mg of simvastatin as its active ingredients. This combination medication is used to lower cholesterol levels in the blood.
Indications:
Vytocor is indicated for:

• Hypercholesterolemia: To reduce elevated total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and non-HDL cholesterol, and to increase HDL cholesterol levels in patients with primary hyperlipidemia or mixed dyslipidemia.

• Dosage: The usual starting dose is 10 mg/20 mg once daily in the evening. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your cholesterol levels and response to treatment.
• Administration: Take the tablet with water. It can be taken with or without food.
• Consistency: Take the medication at the same time each day to help you remember.
• Precautions: Inform your doctor if you have any history of liver disease, kidney disease, or if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Avoid grapefruit juice while taking this medication.
