Ometac 20 Capsules contains Omeprazole 20mg. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach.
Indications:

• Duodenal Ulcer: Treatment of ulcers in the upper part of the intestine.
• Gastric Ulcer: Treatment of stomach ulcers.
• NSAID-associated Ulcers: Treatment of ulcers caused by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
• Helicobacter Pylori Eradication: Treatment of ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori.
• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Management of symptoms caused by acid reflux.
• Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Treatment of excessive stomach acid production due to tumors in the pancreas or duodenum.
• Acid-related Dyspepsia: Relief from acid-related upper abdominal pain or discomfort.

• Dosage: Typically, 20mg once daily, but follow your doctor's prescription.
• Administration: Take one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning.
• Precautions: Avoid if you are allergic to omeprazole or any component of the formulation. Use with caution if you have liver or kidney problems2. Inform your doctor if you are taking other medications, as omeprazole can interact with certain drugs.
