Decomit 100 mcg/Dose HFA Inhalation Aerosol contains the active ingredient beclometasone dipropionate. Each actuation delivers 100 mcg of beclometasone dipropionate.
Indications:
Decomit is used for the treatment of:
Asthma: For the prophylactic management of asthma in patients who require regular treatment.
Instructions:
Dosage:
Adults and Adolescents: The usual dose is 50 to 200 mcg twice daily. In severe cases, the dose may be increased to 400 mcg twice daily.
Children (5 to 11 years): The usual dose is 50 to 100 mcg twice daily.
Administration:
Shake the inhaler well before each use.
Remove the mouthpiece cover and check for any foreign objects.
Breathe out fully, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and close your lips around it.
Press down on the inhaler to release a dose while breathing in slowly and deeply.
Hold your breath for about 10 seconds, then breathe out slowly.
Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take extra doses to make up for the missed dose.
