Description
Colourland ElastoKote is an exclusive single component waterproof coating which formulated with a special highbuild modified polymer to form a tough, flexible, colored and protective membrane. The cured membrane coating is seamless, durable, UV-resistant and bond strongly to the exposed surfaces, concrete flat roofs and metal surfaces. It can be used as a protective roof coating, coloured coating for sports surfaces or as a trafficable coating system for light to medium traffic areas when used with suitable fibreglass reinforcement material. This product is also highly recommended for used in repairing and renovation project. 

Usage

1. It is highly recommended for the application as followed :
2. Floor : Apply under or above screeds to provide a damp proof membrane.
3. Roofs : Apply as the main waterproofing coating or as part of a repair system, it also can be direct applied as protective top coat.
4. Basement : Apply as part of waterproofing system beneath ground level.
5. Walls : Can be used under render/plaster (as water barrier) or applied as a protective top coat.
6. Tiling : As secondary protection under tiles in wet areas e.g. bathrooms and balconies. 

• Texture: Smooth Sheen Finish
• Colour: EK 900 (Dark Grey) and EK 940 (White)
• Theoretical Coverage: 1.30 kg / m² (0.6 to 0.7mm DFT)
• Drying Time: Touch Dry, 1 – 2 Hrs / Hard Dry, 4 Hrs. (Dependent on Temperature and Humidity).
• Recoating Interval: 4 hours

1. All surfaces to be treated must be clean, thoroughly dry and free from all defects or poorly adhering material like dirt, grease and wax. All joints  (width: >2mm) shall be sealed with a suitable low modulus, high performance, paintable joint sealant before primed with 1 to 2 coats of Colourland ElastoSeal.  
2. For general interior and exterior wall application, it is advised to be painted with 2 coats of Colourland ElastoKote after the priming process. 
3. To use Colourland ElastoKote at high stress areas (e.g., internal corners, gaps, outlet cracks, pipe intrusions and etc.), it is advisable to apply together with recommended heavy duty reinforcing material to provide a fully reinforced trafficable system. 
4. For membrane application, all the stress points have to be pre-treated follow the above mentioned method. After it, apply Colourland ElastoKote in a uniform coating over the entire area to be waterproofed at about 0.65 kg/m2 by brush, roller or squeegee. Allow to dry for 4 hours. Then apply 2nd coat of Colourland ElastoKote at 0.65 kg/m2 at perpendicular direction to the previous coat and allow drying for a minimum of 24 hours.  
5. For maximum protection in substrate susceptible to crack, reinforcing fabric is embedded into the 1st coat during wet and further coated (wet on wet) with the 2nd coat of Colourland ElastoKote .
