The HI762PWL is a sharp tip penetration thermistor probe with a handle designed for use with a thermistor thermometer. A cable extends 1 m (3.3’) from the handle to the meter connection. The sharp, pointed tip of the probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of semi-solid samples.
The Sharp Tip Penetration Thermistor Probe with Handle - HI762PWL is designed to measure the temperature of semi-solid samples. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the surface being measured. The HI762PWL sharp, pointed tip construction offers a 6-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, AISI 316 stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure samples up to 150°C (302°F).
