Every time the trigger is released, a limiter system prevents the motor from starting up again until it has come to a complete halt; this reduces impact on the sprag clutch components, providing longer life and quiet operation.

Equipped with a trigger release mechanism designed to uncouple the drive immediately. On releasing the throttle, the chain stops dead in just a few tenths of a second.
