De Bortoli 'Windy Peak' Yarra valley Pinot Noir

The 'Windy Peak' is a collection of estate-grown only wines from the De Bortoli family; it means that it comes from vineyards owned by the estate & cultivated fully by our own team, rather than buying grapes from growers. They control everything from the vineyards to the bottle, and insure the upmost care is given to the wines.
The Fruit for this wine are sourced from the Dixons Creek, Tarrawarra and Yarra Glen sub-region of the Yarra valley, and aged for a few months in oak barrels. It offers a bouquet with perfume of classic Pinot Noir - Red berries, violets, earthy, forest and herbs; textural, elegant flavours of cherry and strawberry, with soft tannins, medium weight, quite a plump style.
