The Break-Away Swivels are high recomendend to be used when doing cable pulling work where the pulling tension is not controlled. It acts as a safety mechanism where if the pulling tension exceeds the set amount it will break and release the tension on the cables or wires. If the pulling tension is higher than the cable or wire tensile rating, it can cause damage an affect its lifetime.
