The intimus 45 CP5 office shredder is our smallest shredder that satisfies the P-5 security standard, with a footprint of only 1.88 square feet (0.17 square meters) and standing a mere 26 inches (66 cm) high. Despite its svelte size, the 45 CP5 is a powerful shredder capable of shredding 9 to 11 sheets per pass, at a total throughput of up to 291 sheets per minute. Thanks to the hardened steel cutting heads, the 45 CP5 can power through paperclips and staples, and can also shred CDs, DVDs, floppy disks, and plastic credit cards and ID cards. But the CP5 isn’t just fast—it produces ultra-small shreds measuring only 0.046 square inches (0.3 cm square), meeting the P-5 security standard of the DIN 66399 specification. This ensures that your sensitive documents cannot be reconstructed, protecting you, your IP, your employees, and your customers.

The 45 CP5 is just as full-featured as its larger counterparts, with our easy to use i-control control panel and color-coded auto-feed that tells users when it is ready to shred, when it is necessary to reduce the number of sheets per pass, and when the unit is overloading and engaging the auto-reverse function in order to prevent damage.
