1. The game of Draught is believed to be over 4000 years old,and it is one of the easiest games to learn.But,it is not easy to master it.
2. The game is for two player.
3. The objective of the game is to capture your opponent's pieces,called ''MEN'' OR block your opponent's men from moving.
4. The equipment used are 24 or 60 men;respectively used for the board 64 OR 144 squares.The squares are alternately a light and a dark colour.
5. The board is placed between the players so that the light square of the first row is at each player's left.
6. The diagonal dark squares are called''THE PLAYING SQUARES''
7. All men move or jump only along the playing squares.
