Nanten is regarded as a lucky tree which changes bad luck to good luck. It bears red fruits in Autumn and they grow to about 0.5 centimeters in diameter. And the tree grows to about 2 meters high.
Its leaves are used on various Japanese cuisine to make it beautiful, and the fruits are operative to relieve a cough.
