Couple who unable to get pregnant after 1 years of regular unprotected sexual intercourse should start a fertility investigation immediately. 1 in 7 couples is facing subfertility, and in these modern times, the percentage is getting higher. Problems that are possible to arise in men are abnormal sperm, low sperm motility or low sperm count. Causes can be genetic factors, long-term use of steroids, age, obesity, stress, and inflammation of the testicles, cystic fibrosis, diabetes and other diseases. Many ends up finding both husband and wife have problems.
Learning there is problem is only the beginning, treatment should commence immediately while both couples are still young. Age is the main contributing factor for subfertility and getting treatment while you are still young can save time and money.
