spool is made of Aluminium Alloy and is spooled with 30 meter of line. 360 Degree rotate head to avoid line tangle. A stainless steel double-end snap is included for securing the line on the spool and attaching to your harness. Despite the large amount of line it can hold, this reel overall outer diameter only 5.5 cm and will easily fit inside a small pocket or clip on to your harness.
This spool was originally designed as an emergency/safety tool when finish diving and make a safety stop, to alert surface boat. This allows the dive boat to safely pick you up once surfaced in the proper location.
If you are diving in areas prone to moderate or strong currents then this emergency reel could significantly increase the chances for survival.
