OVERVIEW
 

1500V Multifunction I-V Curve Tracer for maintenance and efficiency tests on single-phase installations.

  • Measurement of efficiency of a single-phase photovoltaic system
  • Measurement of I-V Curve of a module or of a string up to 1500V/10A - 1000V/15A
  • Measurement of open-circuit voltage of a module or of a string (VOC) 1500V
  • Measurement of short-circuit current of a module or of a string (ISC) 15A

SOLAR I-Ve allows both testing a single-phase photovoltaic system and verifying I-V curve. Thanks to remote unit SOLAR02, it is possible to test the system complying with the requirement of simultaneity as provided for by the reference standard. SOLAR02 is a datalogger which, synchronized with SOLAR I-Ve, acquires the data relevant to irradiation and temperature while tests carried out by SOLAR I-Ve are carried out.

For measuring I-V curve, SOLAR I-Ve manages an internal database of the modules, which can be updated at any time by the user by comparing the measured data with the rated values, thus allowing the immediate evaluation whether the string or the module fulfills the efficiency parameters declared by the manufacturer. Current and voltage measurement at modules/strings output is measured with the 4-terminal method, which allows extending possible measuring cables without considering any compensation of their resistance, thus obtaining always precise measurements. At the end of the test, the display of I-V curve on the screen is a clear indication about the compliance with the specifications declared by the panel manufacturer.

Connect your sensors without any distance limits.
You can connect your irradiance sensor and temperature probe directly on your Solar I-Vw, but if you want to remotize the measurement you just need as remote unit the Solar02. When the Solar I-Vw and Solar02 are paired you can walk far even for 1 km. When you come back near the Solar I-Vw the Solar02 will upload the recorded data from the sensors directly to the master unit.

AutoSequence™. Check String by String without disconnect any cable.
Open the fuse box in the combiner box and start measure I-V Curve string by string, each measure (measure + data saving) needs no more then 15 seconds and no more then 1 people. Solar I-Vw starts automatically to measure the I-V Curve when your test leads touches the positive and negative poles. All that you need is KITKELVIN Test Leads accessory

Module Database, from the cloud to your I-V Curve tracer
Connect via WiFi your tablet or smartphone and manage the modules in your I-V Curve tracer. You can add, modify or delete the modules stored in your device. All of those functions are available even on PC software TOPVIEW (included).

HTANALYSIS™, HTCLOUD™ and TOPVIEW.
You can have your measures on your PC directly from HTCLOUD™. All that you need is to take your smatphone or tablet in your hands, open the app HTANALYSIS™ and connect your I-V Curve Tracer via WiFi. In few gestures you can upload the data on HTCLOUD™ and in REAL TIME you can get the data on your PC with TOPVIEW software (included).
