Edge trims, commonly referred to as self-grip trims, are used to protect edges on panels, doors and glass. They can be fitted onto most materials, such as fibreglass, glass, sheet metal, polycarbonate and wood. Commonly used within most industry sectors, edge trims are used as safety edging to protect the underlying surface and reduce the chance of injuries occurring from sharp or uneven edges.
Manufactured with a self-gripping metal spine, edge trims hold themselves in place without the need for additional adhesive. This creates a secure section that is able to hold its shape and withstand impact but allows the trim to be removed and reused multiple times. They are available in a range of sizes depending on the thickness of the panel that they will be fitted to.
