Description
Smart Cool Weather Paint is a premium quality, 100% full acrylic based emulsion paint. It is specially formulated for the tropics with excellent weathering properties, fungus and algae resistance. Smart Cool Weather Paint finishes have excellent alkali resistance, adhesion and durability. It is formulated to provide at least 6 years protection against fungus and algae growth with correct application.

Usage
For decoration and protection of previously painted or new exterior walls for a long lasting aesthetic finish.

Specifications

• Finishing: Smooth Matt Finish
• Colour: A wide range of colours. Please refer Smart Cool Weather Colour Card
• Binder: 100% Full Acrylic Emulsion
• Volume Solid: White 40% ( Nominal), others colours will vary
• Theoritical Coverage: 11 – 13 m2/Litre
• Drying Time: Touch dry – 15 to 30 minutes; Hard dry – 1 to 2 hour. (*Dependent on temperature and humidity.)

Surface Preparation
Remove all loose, defective paint or powdery residues by wire brushing, scraping, or high pressure water jet. Treat any areas affected by fungus growth with fungicidal wash solution and left dry before painting. Repair cracks, uneven surfaces with putty or suitable fillers. Smoothen the putty areas with sandpaper. Make sure all surfaces are dry before painting. Avoid painting when the moisture content of the walls are still high. (Recommended painting specification requires the moisture content of the walls to be below 16% measured by Protimeter)
