Titanium Grade 4 (Ti CP1) is unalloyed titanium providing high mechanical strength combined with good weldability. This alloy is most commonly applied in the aerospace and chemical processing markets (e.g. liquid metals, nitric acid, mildly reducing acids, and wet chlorine or bromine gas, etc.) by outstanding corrosion resistance and ductility. Typically used in continuous service up to 800! (425℃) and in intermittent service up to 1000! (540℃).
