DESCRIPTION:
Silicone tubing is a rubber-like material that is pliable and elastic. Silicone tubing is useful for suction, aspirating, peristaltic pumps and food manufacturing/processing. This type of tubing can be used in an industrial laboratory when used in a peristaltic pump to pump high solid slurries or viscous fluids. Silicone tubing has a long shelf life and is resistant to bacterial growth, this is especially important for applications using sterile techniques.
