The ‘Leader In Me’

In 2012, SDIS became the first school in Malaysia to be accredited by Franklin Covey USA to teach the ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective Kids’ at school. In 2016, they achieved a ‘Lighthouse’ status, again a first Lighthouse school in Malaysia.

Using the time-tested principle-leadership-model taught by Dr Steven Covey, students are guided to take responsibility for their emotions and choices. While we witness empowerment and academic excellence, students actively participate in interschool exchange, sports, international events and community projects.
