Laser Collimating Lens

Collimating lens expands the beam and sends it forward in relatively parallel beams. It is to control beam diameter and focal point location. Focusing lens mounts on a collimator and either shrinks or magnifies the spot at a specific working distance.

Collimating lenses are curved optical lenses that make parallel the light rays that enter spectrometer setup. These lenses allow users to control the field of view, collection efficiency and spatial resolution of their setups, and to configure illumination and collection angles for sampling.
