Indication

Regulon is used as birth control to prevent pregnancy. Regulon contains a combination of female hormones that prevent ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary). Regulon also causes changes in your cervical mucus and uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus.

Drug interaction

There are drugs which can interact with Regulon. Inform your doctor about all prescribed and over-the counter medications, herbal products and food supplements you use and especially about theophylline (Respbid, Theo-Dur), acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ascorbic acid (vitamin C), prednisolone (Orapred), St. John's wort, seizure medications, cyclosporine (Gengraf, Neoral, Sandimmune), a barbiturate sedatives, HIV or AIDS medications, and antibiotics.
