Indication
Twynsta is used for treating high blood pressure alone or with other medicines. It is also used to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, or death due to heart problems in certain patients. Twynsta is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB). It works by relaxing blood vessels, which helps to lower blood pressure.

Drug interaction
Other antihypertensives, baclofen, amifostine; alcohol, barbiturates, narcotics or antidepressants, corticosteroids (systemic routes). Telmisartan: Digoxin, lithium, NSAIDs. Amlodipine: Grapefruit & grapefruit juice, CYP3A4 inhibitors (eg, ketoconazole, itraconazole, ritonavir) or inducers (eg, anticonvulsants, rifampicin, Hypericum perforatum) & simvastatin. Immunosuppressives.
