• Active Ingredient: Lisinopril dihydrate, equivalent to 10 mg anhydrous lisinopril
• Formulation: Round, pink, uncoated, biconvex tablet with “10” on one side and plain on the other side

• Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Management of symptomatic heart failure
• Short-term treatment (6 weeks) of haemodynamically stable patients within 24 hours of an acute myocardial infarction (heart attack)
• Treatment of renal disease in hypertensive patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus and incipient nephropathy

• Dosage: The usual recommended starting dose for hypertension is 10 mg once daily. The dose may be adjusted according to individual response and tolerability.
• Administration: Take the tablet orally with or without food, at approximately the same time each day. Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew, crush, or break it.
• Precautions:
  • Monitor blood pressure regularly during treatment.
  • Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment.
  • Avoid use during pregnancy, especially after the first trimester, as it may harm the fetus.
  • Not recommended for breastfeeding women.
  • May cause dizziness or light-headedness; avoid activities requiring alertness until you know how the medication affects you.
