The MFV20 is a robust 20-inch heavy-duty pool filter, part of Emaux's MFV Max series. The Max series of swimming pool filters is constructed from a single piece of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), known for its durability and dependability. This UV-resistant plastic can withstand extended exposure to sunlight without deterioration.
Thanks to the innovative design of the Max series, the MFV20 boasts an impressive maximum operating pressure of 2.8 bar (40 psi) and can handle temperatures of up to 50°C. This makes it an excellent choice for spa pools or swimming pools that require heating.
Top Mount Design:
The 20-inch heavy-duty pool filter, featuring a space-saving top mount design, offers exceptional convenience and efficiency. Its top mount design incorporates a one-piece clamp system, securely attaching the valve to the filter vessel, making installation and maintenance a tool-free process. The 6-way multiport valve is constructed from robust ABS and marine-grade stainless steel, ensuring the filter's non-reactive nature. This quality allows it to be compatible with alternative disinfection systems like salt or UV chlorination.
For optimal performance, the MFV20 requires approximately 70kg of sand. However, we recommend utilizing recycled glass filter media (RGFM) to achieve a crystal-clear pool. By choosing RGFM, you can potentially save money in the long run, as it requires around 15% less media and offers a longer lifespan compared to traditional sand. The ideal media size for this pool filter is 0.5-0.8mm.
