LIGHTWEIGHT DIE-CAST ALUMINIUM FRAME
The TRACER 9 GT is equipped with a newly-designed CF die-cast aluminium Deltabox frame, making the bike more rigid for sport bike agility with sure-footed stability. The redesigned aluminium swingarm is 64mm longer to ensure excellent high speed stability without compromising the bike’s nimble handling character.
ALL-NEW LIGHTWEIGHT 889CC ENGINE
The newly developed 889cc liquid-cooled 3-cylinder engine is lighter, quicker and more powerful, with more torque at lower RPM. While the combination of improved combustion efficiency and lighter weight results in an impressive fuel efficiency.

ALL-NEW G-AXIS INERTIAL MEASUREMENT UNIT (IMU)
Retaining the base performance of proven IMU* in the YZF-R1, while being 50% smaller and 40% lighter, this sophisticated piece of electronics gives you ultimate control in varying weather and surface conditions.
*The engine control unit (ECU) receives and reflects the data from the IMU and is equipped with three rider aids: a Traction Control System (TCS), Slide Control System (SCS) and front-wheel LIFT Control System (LIF).
