Description
Pavilion de Leoville Poyferre
The origin of the estate dates back to 1638. At the time, Léoville was the largest Médoc property, divided over time and generations. Léoville Poyferré will initiate the legend of this great wine in 1840 and will be consecrated fifteen years later Second Grand Cru Classé. Didier Cuvelier will preside over the destinies of this jewel in 1979.
Deep purplish red color with purple reflections. Fine aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry with slightly toasted notes. The wine is ample and well balanced with a beautiful tannic structure. Accord of white meat and creamy dishes.
