Each 10 mg pink, round, biconvex, film-coated tablet contains:
• Active Ingredient: Rosuvastatin (as rosuvastatin calcium)
• Nonmedicinal Ingredients: Colloidal silicon dioxide, corn starch, hypromellose, lactose anhydrous, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, sodium stearyl fumarate, talc, titanium dioxide, ferric oxide red, and ferric oxide yellow.
Indications:
Rosuvastatin Sandoz is used to:
• Lower high cholesterol levels: It helps reduce "bad" cholesterol (LDL-C) and increase "good" cholesterol (HDL-C).
• Reduce the risk of heart disease: It is prescribed to lower the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular events in people with high cholesterol or other risk factors.
Instructions:
• Dosage: The usual dose is 5 mg to 20 mg once daily, taken with or without food. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose for you.
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a drink of water.
• Monitoring: Have your cholesterol and triglyceride levels checked regularly as directed by your doctor.
• Precautions: Avoid drinking excessive alcohol and inform your doctor of any other medications you are taking.
• Pregnancy: Do not take if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Use suitable contraception.
