Each film-coated tablet contains 500 mg of levetiracetam.
Indications:
Levetiracetam is used to treat:
• Partial onset seizures with or without secondary generalization in adults and children from 4 years of age.
• Myoclonic seizures in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy.
• Primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age with idiopathic generalized epilepsy.
Instructions:
• Dosage: The recommended starting dose for adults and adolescents (from 16 years of age) is 500 mg twice daily, which can be increased to 1,000 mg twice daily depending on the clinical response and tolerability.
• Administration: Take the tablet orally, with or without food, and swallow it whole with a sufficient quantity of liquid.
• Precautions: Do not take Levet if you are allergic to levetiracetam or any of the other ingredients. Consult your doctor before using it, especially if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
• Side Effects: May include behavioral abnormalities, psychotic symptoms, dizziness, and fatigue. Report any unusual symptoms to your doctor immediately.
