Indications:
Tulip® is indicated for:
• Elevated Cholesterol Levels: Used as an adjunct to diet for the treatment of patients with elevated total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, and triglycerides.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Reduces the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and revascularization procedures in patients with multiple risk factors for coronary heart disease.
• Pediatric Hypercholesterolemia: For boys and postmenarchal girls aged 10-17 years with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia.
Instructions:
• Dosage: Typically, 10-80 mg once daily. The exact dose should be individualized based on the patient's condition and response to treatment1.
• Administration: Can be taken at any time of the day, with or without food.
• Diet and Exercise: Patients should continue a cholesterol-lowering diet and exercise regimen while taking Tulip®.
• Monitoring: Regular monitoring of liver function and lipid levels is recommended.
