Monofer 100 mg/ml solution for injection/infusion contains 100 mg of iron as iron (III) isomaltoside 1000 per milliliter. It is used to treat iron deficiency anemia, especially when oral iron preparations are ineffective or cannot be used.
Indications:

• Iron Deficiency Anemia: Treatment of iron deficiency anemia when oral iron preparations are ineffective or cannot be used.
• Rapid Iron Replacement: When there is a clinical need to deliver iron quickly to build up iron stores.
