• Active Ingredient: Each gram of ointment contains 10 mg of chloramphenicol, a broad-spectrum antibiotic used to treat bacterial eye infections.
• Pharmaceutical Form: Yellowish-white eye ointment.

• Treatment of acute bacterial conjunctivitis in adults and children aged 2 years and above.

1. Dosage:
   • Adults and children ≥ 2 years: Apply approximately 1 cm of ointment into the lower eyelid sac of the affected eye every 3 hours or more frequently if needed.
   • Duration of treatment is usually 5 days.
   • If using eye drops during the day and ointment at night, apply ointment at bedtime.
2. Administration:
   • Wash hands before and after application.
   • Pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket.
   • Squeeze ointment into the pocket without touching the tip of the tube to the eye or other surfaces.
   • Close the eye and blink several times to spread the ointment.
   • Close the tube tightly after use.
   • Avoid wearing contact lenses during treatment and for at least 24 hours after finishing treatment.
