The HI766PC is a penetration K-type thermocouple probe designed for use with the HI766HD probe handle and thermocouple thermometer. The sharp, pointed tip of the probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of semi-solids and high-temperature samples.
The Penetration K-Type Thermocouple Probe - HI766PC is designed to measure the temperature of semi-solids and high-temperature samples. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the surface being measured. The HI766PC pointed tip construction offers a 15-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 900°C (1650°F).
