Cleaner (Pack 1): Remove surface contamination using the cleaner. Spray the surface and clean thoroughly with an absorbent cloth.
Penetrant (Pack 2): Liberally spray the area with penetrant and allow 5 minutes contact time. For very fine cracks, allow up to 20 minutes.
Cleaner (Pack 1): Wipe off excess penetrant with a lint-free cloth sprayed with cleaner.
