The solution for designers
|
The solution for simulation experts
|
The small and cost-effective solution for simulating design during component development.
With the resulting digital prototypes, development times and costs can be drastically reduced. The Adviser allows the simple import of CAD data from all common systems such as Catia®, Creo® or SolidWorks®, as well as the fast simulation of the component – often only within a few minutes. database, which contains over 10,000 data records.
Users are able to find a suitable injection point, compare different materials, ensure feasibility and carry out a fully-fledged filling simulation. The results of this simulation include maximum pressures and closing forces, the cycle time and, of course, shrinkage and warpage. In addition, the Adviser already allows the modeling of connection and cooling systems, so that the first simple mold analyses can be carried out quickly.
|
Detailed validation and optimization of part, tool and process.
While small simulation solutions concentrate on the analysis of the part, Autodesk Moldflow Insight allows the accompanying simulation across the entire process chain.
We are talking about three simulation phases: Article design (S1), tool design and tool construction (S2) and production (S3). With Autodesk Moldflow Insight, you can validate and optimize parts, molds, and processes individually and exclude potential defects and their causes.
|
- Simple operation
- Short training period
- Suitable for occasional use (parallel to construction)
- Low-cost introduction to injection moulding simulation
|
- Simulation of complex parts, tool technologies and special processes
- Simulation of conformal and variothermal cooling
- Simulation of foam injection moulding
- High-grade parallelization through cloud computing

Validate and optimize mechanical performance of as-manufactured plastic parts using tools to exchange data with mechanical simulation software.
|
Make change directly within Moldflow for properties like wall thickness or feature positions, to try many different combinations.
|
The software displays several different combinations for you to choose from. Understanding the stability of your manufacturing process, and identify the major factors that influence your product defects or machine molding limits.
|
The extended solving options of Moldflow software allows you to simulate on your local machine, a remote server, or in the cloud, depending on your needs.
