OMC 8100 - PS is used to provide power to bus for those expansion modules which do not have their own power supply and the main PLC module's (OMC 8000) capacity to provide power would be exceeded. Power consumption of expansion modules and the possible need for additional power is determined by the Multiprog SW when configuring the PLC network. On top of that the main module (OMC 8000) monitors power consumption of the entire system in real time and informs the user.
