This particular tequila dates back to 1758, when the King Ferdinand VI of Spain awarded Jose Antonio de Cuervo a piece of land in Mexico to cultivate agaves. Since then, the special blue agaves have been distilled and bottled without maturing to create this 38% vol. tequila. The Especial Silver Tequila edition offers a fresh and light flavour profile with an agave content of 51%.
