HERO TECH WL20 Lanthanum Tungsten Electrode (Sky Blue)
Lanthanated tungsten electrode contains 0.8% - 2.2% lantana, the electron work is 2.8eV - 3.0eV. It is easy to arc and stable arc with low current, it is mainly used in DC, performance well in AC welding. Lanthana has better creep resistance, strong ductility, smaller stirring rate. Therefore the tip temperuature lowers, which helps grain growth, increased of service life, without overload current, the life of lanthanated tungsten electrode longer than thoriated tungsten electrode, particularly good at preventing thermal shock. In the short cycle of welding, under the condition of repeated ignition, it can be welded well and prevents from pollution. When welding pipeline, it is suitable as the service time is long and downtime are reduced.
