May be taken with or without food.
Drug interaction
Carbonic anhydrase inhibitors eg, topiramate, acetazolamide. Affected the pharmacokinetics of P-gp substrates eg, digoxin, quinidine. Enhanced risk of developing renal stones w/ medicines that may lead to urolithiasis. Pharmacokinetically affected by CYP3A4, N-acetyl transferases & glucuronic acid inducers or inhibitors.
