Indication
DM in adults, adolescents & childn ≥2 yr.
Instruction
Should be taken with food: Administer immediately before or after a meal.
Drug interaction
Reduced insulin requirement w/ oral antidiabetics, MAOIs, β-blockers, ACE inhibitors, salicylates, anabolic steroids, sulfonamides. Increased insulin requirement w/ OCs, thiazides, glucocorticoids, thyroid hormones, sympathomimetics, growth hormone, danazol. Masked hypoglycaemia symptoms by β-blockers. Increased or decreased insulin requirement w/ octreotide/lanreotide. Intensified or reduced hypoglycaemic effect by alcohol.
